Above is what we had to answer. Below is one of my fellow students post that I need to respond to.

My two areas of expertise are insurance and digital medical sonography, so it seems the logical choices for a business I would consider opening are an either an insurance agency or an ultrasound studio. While I am currently in the process of opening a small business consulting firm that would include insurance, tax, and financial planning services, for this course I thought it would be more interesting to chose to open an ultrasound studio. I have spent the last six years doing prenatal ultrasounds, but since I do not have a doctor to oversee the scans my business would be doing, I will open a non-medical, for fun ultrasound studio. I would like to have the studio not only offer 3D/4D ultrasounds but also have space available to rent for baby showers and gender reveal parties. These spaces could double as classrooms for infant CPR classes, prenatal and postnatal nutrition classes, prenatal yoga classes, and breastfeeding support group meetings. Two factors that can determine the success of a new business are knowledge and expertise. (Simpson, Tuck & Bellamy, 2004, p. 486) Since I have two Associates Degrees from TCC in Digital Medical Sonography and Dietary Science, my upcoming Business Degree from Regent, and hands on experience, this would be the perfect business for me to launch.

The thing I have always loved most about being an ultrasound tech is having the opportunity to show parents their baby for the very first time. I get to introduce mothers to the new life growing inside of them. Life is not only a miracle, it is a gift from God. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” (ESV, Psalm 127:3) I not only get to witness this miracle, I get to share it with others.
