Case #2 Rules and Format

Fact Pattern

Utilize the web or other resource to find one of the following two topics and write a 2-3 paragraph summary of the article. The article should contain information that relates to a specific situation or event (i.e Company A purchased Company B) and should sufficiently answer the 5 W’s (who, what, where, when and why).

• A large corporation purchase of a small business.
• A large corporation use of a small business’s intellectual property by way of a license.

• Formatting rules
• Case Rubric:

• Times new roman 12 Point font
• Double spaced
• End justify (both right and left)
• Include page numbers
• 0.75 inch page margins all around
• Header should take up no more than two lines and should include your name, student id, class, and assignment name
• Case should be no more than three pages, no less than one
• References – APA format (should have its own page)

• Proper format, spelling, grammar and aesthetics: 40%
• Discussion: 50%
• On-time submission: 10%
