- Read “Charles” by Shirley Jackson on pp. 229-232 and “The Open Window” by Saki H.H. Munro.
- Review the “For Writing or Discussion” on page 235.
- Use question number 4 to write an essay comparing and/or contrasting Jackson’s short story with Saki’s.
