Demographics and Marketing Paper

Take inventory of the products and/or services you frequently use and then write 3 to 5-page, double-spaced paper with the following components (in any order):

1. Your list (2-3) of products and/or services, the companies that provide them, and the main reasons why you buy them.

2. After researching these company’s target markets, please share your findings and discuss whether you are part of them. Does it make it a difference and why?

3. How are the businesses that produce these products or services marketing themselves to you? What does that look like? What forms of advertising are they using to reach you? Does any of this matter and impact you? Why or why not?

4. If these products and services are widely popular, are different types of marketing messaging and/or advertising used? If so, why do believe this is the case? Are you seeing any patterns?

5. Are similar products and/or services available? If so, why aren’t you selecting them?

6. Do you believe these companies are acting ethically, in terms of their marketing strategies and tactics? Why or why not?

7. Provide a summary/conclusion wrap-up (paragraph minimum).

*It is important to note that the level and depth of analysis are key factors in grading. Additionally, providing a strong summary/conclusion that outlines your key points, findings, and analysis would be considered an added plus.
