part 1:

A 500 word discussion that outlines 3 professional benefits for using social media and 3 potential concerns with social media. Your discussion must include two peer reviewed articles (citation ADA style)

Consider the following:

  • Who is able to view the information?
  • What are the ethical considerations of social media?
  • Consider what we have discussed in regards to ethics of practice and professionalism.
  • What are the costs associated with these platforms?
  • How might information be reviewed or vetted?
  • Who uses social media?

part 2:

Select a product (food, company, product, etc) that has a marketing campaign that can be clearly identify and they must have a social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. You will then answer the following questions (be sure to be thorough):

  • What is the Target Market for this product/item – be specific! (2pts)
  • What is the Mission Statement for the company/product/item? (2pts)
  • What are the 4 P’s of the product? What is the social media presence (outline the campaign, include one image of a marketing ad). (6pts)
  • What are some of the comments you can see on their ads? What are people’s responses to the advertising messages? (2pts)
  • Finally, what would you change about the marketing of this product/item? And why? (3pts)
