In every country in the world selling human organs is illegal but in poor countries there is a black market for such things like kidney and livers. Some argue that if a healthy person can sell one of his/her kidneys to a rich person who is willing to pay premium price, both buyer and seller can be made better off. Despite this obvious gains from trade, social, legal and political system prevents the existence of such a market due to a wide variety of reasons. Many economists believe that there would be large benefits to allowing a free market in organs.
