Select ONE exploratory prompt from the list of three below:  Transfer exploration (ideal for students intending to transfer): Explore schools/programs on WOIS, under Education and Training, or if you intend to transfer out of state, explore those schools or states that you’re interested in. Then, go online to the transfer school’s website and figure out what the desired school and major/program requires for transferring. List the requirements and what you need to accomplish in order to meet them. In 300+ words, discuss why this is the school you’ve chosen and how you will meet its requirements.  Cost -of-Living exploration (ideal for students who aren’t sure about their post-Cascadia educational plans): Use NerdWallet’s cost of living calculator and determine what it will cost you to live in your desired community. In 300+ words, relate that information to the funds you will potentially have available for yourself, and discuss what lifestyle adjustments you may need to make or what alternative communities or housing you may need to explore.  Community Service exploration (ideal for stewards of humanity): Explore opportunities for making a difference in your community as an engaged citizen through Seattle Engagement and Activism , or WA Secretary of State Charity search , or Charity Navigator(http://www.charitynavigator.org/ (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.), or Give Well (http://www.givewell.org/). Choose 2 organizations you might consider volunteering for, and in 300+ words explain why you chose them, where your philanthropic interests come from, and where else they might lead you.  Artifact Submission: Submit ONE 300+ word essay in which you explain – as detailed above — how you chose your prompt, your discoveries, and how the discoveries may affect your future plans.  *If you would like to explore more than one of these Wild Card prompts, you may include one or both additional 300+ word essays in this submission for LPP extra credit (5 points each).  01:00 profile this  01:00
