Option #1: Case Analysis: After the Merger: D-Bart Industries
For this option, you will read the case analysis of a fictitious company, D-Bart Industries. D-Bart consists of two companies that were former rivals, Davis Manufacturing and Bartlund Technologies. These companies produced precision parts used for medical equipment and airline manufacturing.

In a paper 7-9 pages in length, address the two questions about redesigning the new structure, implications and challenges, and managing the change found at the end of the case study. There is a summary provided already but you must provide deeper insights and analysis using scholarly sources to back up your thoughts.
Make comparisons between D-Bart Industries to 1-2 other firms that you research. Describe these organizations and provide their website addresses.
To help you in your analysis, ask “what if?” questions that will lead you to consider what could have been done differently, for better or worse.
Incorporate what you have learned in this course and what you would do if you were a manager or consultant at D-Bart Industries.
Include at least four scholarly references in addition to the course textbook and any other professional/trade publications or websites you use. The CSU-Global Library is a good place to find these references.
The paper must conform to APA Requirements.
