INSTRUCTIONS FOR PHASE III
You are to prepare an Information Governance Policy/Program for STP. All IG policies or programs are somewhat different and unique to the industry and to the organization. There are a number of sample Information Governance Policy/Program templates and samples on the internet. Please browse the internet to get a flavor for what an actual IG Policy/Program might look like. Please give me the citations or references or links to those that you found so that I may also reference those IG Policies/Programs. Also, attached to the end of this document is a sample Information Governance Policy template that was copied verbatim from the website https://www.infogovbasics.com/creating-a-policy/. You may make-up your own format STP IG Policy/Program, or you may use the sample at the end of this document as a template for formatting the STP Information Governance Policy/Program. Additionally you may choose to use the general format for one that you found on the internet or some hybrid of all that you have researched. Regardless of which format or combination of formats that you use, you must tell me how you arrived at the format you choose, and a link to the website. Following your explanation of which format or hybrid of formats you decided to use, you must also give me a list of no fewer than three (3) additional websites where you found sample IG Policies/Programs. Please remember, the sample at the end of this document is merely attached as one example of what might be contained in your IG policy/program, and in what format. Browse as much as you want to determine how you want to format your own IG Policy/program, and the types of things you will include. Even if you do decide to use the attached sample, still you are required to customize this sample to meet the distinct characteristics and needs of STP. Please give me the source for any examples of IG policies/programs that you used. Please do not misconstrue the sample/example format attached hereto. You must include content or provide instruction for each section listed, and include your own sections where appropriate. For example, you will see on one portion of the attached example the following: Roles and Responsibilities The first major section of most frameworks clearly define key roles and their responsibilities, including: Information Governance Committee Information Governance Team Information Risk Management Information Asset Management
