Research via the internet and find recent news article regarding denial of service attack, or distributed denial of service attack.
Summarize the article using at least 500 words.

For this assignment you will post your answers to the questions in each thread. Use examples from the readings, or from your own research, to support your views, as appropriate. You are encouraged to conduct research and use other sources to support your answers. Be sure to list your references at the end of your post. References must be in APA citation format. All posts must be a minimum of 250 words.

1. Why is it important for organizations to have a business continuity plan in place?

3. If companies have both a BCP and a DRP in place do they need to have an incident response plan? Please explain.

You have been tasked with developing a business continuity plan for the university. Begin by making a list of all of the tasks that are required to complete the assignment. 

You must first begin with a risk assessment and business impact analysis. Write a draft memo to the president of the university explaining the need for a business continuity plan. Be sure to include your recommendations on how you would implement a successful plan. (NOTE: Do not actually send this memo).
