You are charged with starting a Bar/ Restauraunt.

PART 1

MUST BE TYPED USING EXCEL OR MICROSOFT WORD. NO MORE THAN ONE WORD AND EXCEL FILE( Add all parts to one WORD and EXCEL FIle)

1. Attached is the Chart of Accounts used for the bar/ restaurant. (You may add on any accounts necessary.

2. Decide a fair amount of cash to be contributed.

3. Create at least 30 transactions (reminder: I want Transactions, not journal entries) that you believe reflect the business would engage in in the first month of operations (Include the contribution from you). You should use each account from the Chart of Accounts at least once. Label Each Transaction with a date.

4. All work must be collated in the following manner:

1. Cover Sheet

2. Chart of Accounts

3. List of Transactions

PART 2

Using Part 1 Complete the following:

1. You can use Microsoft Excel (General Ledger) and/or word software to type the entire project.

2. Edit the chart of accounts by deleting any accounts that you do not need and adding or modifying any accounts that you identified in your part one submission.

3. Create journal entries for the transactions in your part 1 submission. Post all journal entries to the general ledger.

4. Run A Trial Balance.

A. Work must be collated in the following manner:

1. Cover Sheet

2. Chart of Accounts

3. List of transactions

4. General Journal

5. General Ledger

6. Trial Balance
